Home bathrooms
Shower replacements, full remodels, walk-in tubs and safer baths, for houses in town and out on acreage.
In town or on acreage, a shower sized to the job
We drive out from Tulsa to remodel bathrooms and business restrooms all over Catoosa, from streets inside city limits to acreage well past them. Before we price a shower, we look at how much of the room has to change, because that decides the time, the mess and the cost.
100% would recommend for sure!!
Two customers walk through their remodel on video, Jeremy introduces himself, and three Google reviewers say it in their own words. Catoosa is a short drive out I-44 from us, and the warranty is just as close.
I donโt think you could find anybody any better to work with than these people. The homeowners, in their video review
Jeremy has called Tulsa home since he was 8 and learned tile and showers at 16 under a Tulsa builder. On a Catoosa visit he looks at the old shower and the floor around it before he talks about tile, and he tells you what he would leave out.
Meet JeremyVery friendly and reliable! Would highly recommend this company to anyone that enjoys quick and easy services.

Catoosa is a small city with a lot of country around it, and most of its houses went up between the port years and the 2000s. Here is what the public numbers say, and what they mean for your bathroom.

What that changes in your bathroom
Inside city limits, the City of Catoosa's utility department runs the water and the sewer. Past them, roughly 1,500 more homes spread across the rest of the school district's 81 square miles. We drive out from Tulsa to both, and the estimate is free either way.Source 3
Half the homes inside city limits were built in 1986 or earlier, so many of their bathrooms are at or near 40 years old. When a wall comes open in a house that age, we update the plumbing behind it to current standards and code instead of closing it back up as it was.Source 1
If the bathroom we are remodeling is the only one you have, you keep a working toilet throughout the job. The shower is the part you go without, and the estimate tells you for how many days.
The Port of Catoosa opened in 1971, and the town grew from 970 people in 1970 to 2,954 by 1990. A house from those years may still have its first tub-shower unit and valve. When one comes out, the subfloor and the drain under it are in plain sight, and the plumbing is brought up to code before the new shower goes in.Source 4

How long a shower replacement takes depends mostly on how much of the room has to change. These are the three sizes of job we see, what each changes in time, mess and cost, and what our own jobs actually took.
The old shower or tub comes out, and a tiled shower goes in on the same footprint.
The shower grows into space a tub, a wall or a closet used to take: more framing, more tile, and sometimes new lighting.
In a house on a concrete slab, moving or replacing the shower drain means opening the concrete and patching it. It's the step people don't see coming.
| Same size | Bigger shower | Drain moved in a slab | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What comes out | The old shower or tub and the wall board around it | The tub, a wall or a closet, plus the old shower | The old shower and a patch of the concrete floor |
| The mess | One room, the floor outside covered | More demolition, the room out of use longer | Concrete work at the drain, then the shower |
| One of our jobs | Bixby tub to shower: about 4 weeks, first visit to finished photos | East Tulsa master bath: about 5 weeks, contract to finished photos | Bixby walk-in shower: about 2 weeks on site |
| Price | Priced after we see the room | About $22,000 to $23,000 for the whole room (Tulsa) | About $7,000 to $7,500 (Bixby) |
There's no finished Catoosa job on the site yet. These are real Tulsa-area jobs, each with its scope, what turned up along the way, and the price range from the signed quote, so you can see how we work before we drive out.
A Bixby homeowner's master shower was a worn acrylic stall with a step-over threshold. We built a tiled walk-in shower with a half-inch ledge a wheelchair can cross, grab bars, a niche and a light overhead.
An east Tulsa master bath with a jacuzzi garden tub, a separate older shower and an oak double vanity. We built a full tiled shower where the tub was, then updated the rest of the room around it, and the guest bath vanity too.
A fiberglass tub and shower combo with a curtain, in a Bixby home. We turned it into a tiled walk-in shower with marble-look walls, a pebble mosaic floor, corner shelves and a hand shower on a slide bar.
The Tinker Federal Credit Union Foundation asked us to build an accessible shower for a Korean War veteran in Glenpool, within a nonprofit budget. The corner jacuzzi tub came out, and a curbless roll-in shower with grab bars went in its place.
Most of our full remodels land between $10,000 and $25,000, and our minimum job is $2,500 to $5,000. Recent jobs show the range: a Bixby walk-in shower came to about $7,000 to $7,500, and an east Tulsa master bath with a new shower and rebuilt vanities to about $22,000 to $23,000. Your quote is itemized, so you see what each part costs. Our cost guide.
It depends on the size of the job. A full remodel usually takes about a week on site, up to two for a larger room or detailed tile. Our Bixby walk-in shower, where we opened the slab at the drain, took about two weeks on site. We give you the days at the estimate, and the waterproofing gets its full cure time either way.
Yes, all the time, as well as tile. Acrylic and solid-surface wall panels go up faster and leave no grout lines to scrub, and a one-day kit adds a molded shower base; tile gives you the widest choice of look. Either way the old surround comes off first, so anything behind it gets fixed before the new walls go up. Ask us to price both. Walk-in showers.
Yes, when it fits the person who will bathe in it. You sit inside while it fills and drains, and a deep tub needs enough hot water to fill it, per the maker's specifications. We do not inspect water heaters ourselves; if yours needs a look, our on-site plumber or a plumber we recommend checks it. For many people a low-entry shower with a seat does the same job for less. Walk-in tubs.
It can, for a veteran, when a VA doctor prescribes the change for a medical reason. The VA's HISA benefit has a lifetime limit of $6,800 for a service-connected disability or any disability rated 50% or more, and $2,000 otherwise. We don't trim materials to fit the VA's number: anything beyond what was prescribed, such as a curbless shower in place of an approved curbed one, is your call, and we go over it line by line. How we work with the VA.
Yes: offices, restaurants, shops and industrial buildings. We set the schedule with you before we start, and where a building has two restrooms, one can stay open while we work on the other, if you want it that way. Most commercial restrooms take 2 days to a week, and we plan clearances and grab bars to the 2010 ADA Standards. Commercial restroom remodeling.
Yes. We drive out from Tulsa to houses inside the city and on acreage around it, on the Rogers County side and the Wagoner County side alike. The estimate is free either way, and it's a good time to tell us if this is the only bathroom in the house, so we can plan the job around it.
Tell us what is going on with your bathroom. Someone picks up between 8 AM and 8 PM, and after hours our answering service takes the message.

Work usually starts 1 to 2 weeks after you approve. Cement board and a waterproofing membrane go in every wet area, never sheetrock or green board. A full remodel runs about a week, up to two for intricate tile.
