What was there
A standard fiberglass tub and shower combo with a curtain on a curved rod, in a Bixby home.
What we did
- Took out the tub and its fiberglass surround.
- Built a tiled walk-in shower in the same space, with large marble-look wall tile and a low tile curb.
- Laid a pebble mosaic shower floor, which grips well under bare feet.
- Added corner shelves in the tile and a hand shower on a slide bar.
Why convert the tub
